The Project
The founders' vision was that efforts could be made to improve the utilization of the resources of the vast land area that the nation possesses. Climate change, population growth, increased food demand, and the increase in the number of tourists pose both threats and opportunities for Icelanders to increase export revenues.
The goal is to team up with strong shareholders to create a powerful company to tackle diverse projects in this field.
Landnýting will take a major step towards utilizing the potential that Icelandic agriculture has for producing high-quality food for export.
- In the first step, we focus on greenhouse farming for the cultivation of tomatoes or, for example, cucumbers, and other products, and we utilize experience and the latest technologies and methods:
- Modern – VENLO – high-tech greenhouses and modern AI – Computer-controlled cultivation
- Automation in planting and harvesting
